Yesterday, our school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated World Book Day with a variety of fun activities designed to inspire a love of reading! Children and staff showed wonderful creativity by dressing up as a word of their choice, bringing language to life in imaginative and colourful ways. In the morning, we were delighted to welcome parents and carers into school to spend time sharing a book with their child, creating some lovely moments and celebrating the joy of reading together. The day ended with great anticipation and laughter during a special assembly featuring our very own 'Masked Reader', where children tried to guess which mystery reader was behind the mask! It was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone, reminding us all just how magical reading can be. #WorldBookDay #reading

Last week we had a very exciting delivery of our new Tipi, which has been placed in the heart of the Outdoor Learning Hub. We want to send our appreciation and gratitude to The @wraycommon Friends Team, who managed to secure the funding from Gatwick Airport Community Trust, making this possible. This has not only enhanced the play and learning environment for our children, but also provides an inviting, peaceful and sheltered space for reading, creativity and storytelling.
