Wray Common Primary School

A primary school for boys and girls aged 4 to 11

School Council

Wray Common is very proud of its School Council. Each year, a child from every class is democratically voted to be a member of the School Council and are responsible for representing the opinions of their class.

“My role/ responsibility is vice chair in the school council. What I do is read the behaviour report and go round the school interviewing the Assistant Headteachers. I find my responsibility very enjoyable and fun to do and I hope other children enjoy their job just as much.” – Aneira

“My job is a school council member. I am very proud to be a part of the school council and take my role responsibly. It is an important role because if there wasn’t a school council, the school wouldn’t be able to reflect and improve on things that may be doing wrong.” – Elsa

“My role as the school council chair is incredible because every Friday I get to read out the behaviour report and decide what goes on it.” – Hugh
