Wray Common is very proud of its House Captains. Each year, Captains and Vice-Captains are democratically voted for each of the school’s four houses: Emeralds, Rubies, Diamonds and Sapphires.
“I really like to be a house captain as you get lots of additional jobs such as taking my house to victory in house factor, sports day and other house related competitions.” – Phoebe B
“House Captain is a job you have to run to catch up with because you can always do better. A great part of honesty is included in how many house points your house has earned. You also have to be kind if you don’t win and clap for others. I am passionate when I do it and I always wanted to be one and now I am one. Although there is a lot I can improve on being a House Captain.” – Phoebe J
“My role is the vice captain and we collect the house points on Friday lunch time. Me and Phoebe swap turns going up in assembly each week. I enjoy my role because you get to go up in assembly and represent your house. This role is important because if we don’t collect the house points nobody will get the teddies.” – Millie
