Wray Common Primary School

A primary school for boys and girls aged 4 to 11

School Council

Wray Common is very proud of its School Council. Each year, a child from every class is democratically voted to be a member of the School Council and are responsible for representing the opinions of their class.

We make important decisions on how to continually improve our school for everyone. We allow all children to have a voice on matters that are important to them through the use of our Soap Box Assembly.

Here’s what Kimaya Kardile, our current School Council Chair, has to say about her role:

“My role as School Council Chair is to lead, manage and support my team of School Council representatives. Not only do I bring important matters to the attention of Mr Murphy and Mr Huelin (Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher), I also work closely with children across the school to attend to children’s matters.”
