As the culmination of this half term’s whole school topic, “Take One Picture” we are extremely excited to be inviting our parents and carers into school this afternoon to show them what our pupils have been busy creating. With singing, dancing and captivating art displays, the afternoon is set to live up to its name!
This week is Gala Week at Wray Common and all pupils have been making waves, trying their best in their respective races as they represent their Houses in the School’s Annual Swimming Gala. Well done everyone who has taken part so far and good luck to Year 6, who’s turn it is tomorrow!

After a good night’s sleep, the children have packed up their things and are busy getting on with their morning activities. The children have arrived safely and after a quick bite to eat are busy engaging in their activities. After a long journey, a fun filled afternoon and lots of fresh air the staff are hoping a good night’s sleep will be had by all tonight!

The countdown is on to our annual Fireworks Event! With drinks, a BBQ, glow-products and a spectacular fireworks display, this is one of Wray Common’s biggest fundraisers, so please make sure you come along and support this fantastic event on November 3rd from 5.30pm.
The Year 6 children have had their lunch and are burning of their last bits of energy playing games, before boarding the coach at 1.30pm for their journey back to school. They are scheduled to arrive in time for normal school pick up but if this changes we will notify the children’s parents/ carers.
The children have arrived safely and after unloading their luggage and grabbing a quick bite to eat, are now refueled and ready to get stuck in to their activities! After such an action packed start to the trip, the teachers are all hoping they will sleep well tonight!
